Color Tinting

Depending on the lenses in the dyes, the color tint penetrates deep into the surface of the plastic material. Whether single, graduated, customized, or medically prescribed tints are required, plastic lenses can be tinted to desired colors.

Tinting properties

CR-39 and high index lenses have the best tinting properties. Polycarbonate lenses are harder to tint.

Tinting purposes

Usually, Tint is applied for three purposes: • Fashion & lifestyle: Based on fashion trends, personal preference, or hobbies. Colors can be a mono solid color, gradient, or bi-color. • Sun protection: Tint also reduces glare protection, improved contrast vision, and relaxing fatigued eyes. • UV Protection: Tints are available as a tool to protect from sun UV.
